Abstract

Evolutionary optimization techniques have gained significant attention in recent years for feature selection in image processing tasks. This paper provides a comprehensive overview and analysis of various evolutionary optimization algorithms used for feature selection in image processing. We discuss the challenges and opportunities in applying these techniques to improve the performance of image processing tasks, such as object detection, recognition, and image classification. The paper also highlights recent advancements and future research directions in this area
